"Capuchin" is a classic game added to your favorite Solitaire Games Suite!

This month we have added to SolSuite Solitaire an old classic solitaire game, of British origin, described in the book, Games of Patience by Tarbart, published in 1905.

The purpose of this game is to move all the cards to the Foundations, by building up regardless of suit from the base card to the rank just below the corresponding indicator card, until each pile contains twelve cards.

On the middle of the layout, you will see eight cards, These are the "Indicator" cards and take no active part in the game.

The third row, at the bottom, is the Tableau which consists of 8 piles with 12 cards each. The top card of each pile can be played to the Foundations only.

When there are no more moves, click on the "Redeal" button.
The cards in the first Tableau pile are dealt, one by one, to each of the other Tableau piles in succession.

If the play is blocked again, the cards in the second Tableau pile are dealt, one by one, to the remaining Tableau piles, then the third, and so on.

💥Game time: Medium; 5-10 minutes
💥Difficulty level: Easy
💥Skill level: Moderate
💥Chance of winning: Low; about 1 in 20; 5%

How to play the NEW "Long Beach" solitaire with SolSuite 20.5!

In the latest SolSuite 20.5 release, two new and original solitaire games have been added.

One of them is "Long Beach", a Two-Deck solitaires type game.

The object of the game is to place all the cards to the Foundations:
- "Ace" foundations: Build up, in any suit but its own, from Ace to King. For example, a 2♥ can only be played on an Ace♣♦♠.

- "King" foundations: Build down, in any suit but its own, from King to Ace. For example, a Queen♠ can only be played on a King♥♣♦

On the tableau, you have four piles on the left side of the screen and four on the right side of the screen.
The tableau rules are:
- In the first four columns, build down in any suit but its own. For example, a 5♠ can only be played on a 6♥♣♦.
- In the last four columns, build up in any suit but its own. For example, a 10♦ can be only played on a 9♠♥♣.
- The top card of each column is available for play to another tableau column or to the foundations.
- A packed sequence, or any portion of it, may be moved to another tableau column.

- Spaces may be filled with any available card or packed sequence.

Cards from the stock pile can be dealt one at a time to the waste pile, and then played to the tableau or to the foundations.

You have to be aware that you might arrive at the end of the game and find that, for example, you have a King♠ to be placed on a Queen♠.

Fortunately, cards can be played to the Foundations back to the Tableau piles, so to end the game.

Hope you enjoy this new solitaire! 😃

SolSuite 2020's NEW v20.4 is Now Available for Download!

SolSuite 2020 v20.4 has just been released, and includes two original solitaire games. One of them is called "Endeavor" and it's a Fan solitaires type.
This game is played with two sets of cards. All the Aces are removed from the pack and place on the Foundations, which will be built up in suit from Ace to King.
The rest of the pack will be dealt in thirty-two fans of three cards each.
On the tableau:
- Cards will be built down in suit. For example, a 10♣ can only be played on a Jack♣.
- The top card of each fan is available for play to another tableau fan or to the foundations.
- Only one card at a time can be moved.

- Spaces can't be filled.
Strategy and Tactics 💡
👉Don't play an exposed card to a fan containing a lower card of the same suit. This blocks the game.
👉Locate all fans containing two or more cards of the same suit. Plan to release these cards first.
👉Building up on the layout should be considered a temporary measure. Such builds will need to be reversed in order to play the cards to the foundations.

Game Info 📌
⌚Game time: Long; More than 10 minutes
👉Difficulty level: Medium
💪Skill level: Mostly skill
🏆Chance of winning: Medium; about 1 in 8; 12.5%

The new SolSuite Solitaire version 19.10 has just been released, and includes two new and original solitaire card games: Carriage and Puppeteer: two Original solitaire games invented and released by TreeCardGames.

In this video we are showing how to play Carriage:

- When the game starts, the four Kings are removed from the deck and placed in the tableau.
- On the "6" foundations, build down in suit from 6 to Ace. For example, a 5💗 can only be played on a 6💗.
- On the "7" foundations, build up in suit from 7 to Queen. For example, an 8♣ can only be played on a 7♣.
- On the Tableau (the 4 Kings) build up or down regardless of suit.
- Turn up one card at a time, from the stock to the waste.
- There is no redeal.
- The top card of the waste pile is always available for play to the tableau.

SolSuite Solitaire 19.9 NEW solitaire!

This month a couple of new and original games were added to the version 19.9 of SolSuite Solitaire. One of them is called Josephine, and it is a Two-Deck solitaire game with the following characteristics:

⌚ Game time: Medium; 5-10 minutes
👉 Difficulty level: Easy
💪 Skill level: Moderate
🏆 Chance of winning: High; about 1 in 3; 33.3%

As you can see, the chances of winning this game are quite high. However, you might want to take into account a couple of strategy tips:

1 ) Unless it becomes necessary to release an important card in a higher row, avoid playing cards from above a gap to a foundation until its duplicate has been dealt.

2 ) When the top cards of the Ace and King foundations of the same suit are in sequence, consider reversing cards, one at a time, from one foundation to the other.

The new SolSuite Solitaire version 19.8 was just released and includes two new and original solitaire card games.

Caprice Two Decks is the Two-Deck version of Caprice:
SolSuite Solitaire 19.8 - Caprice Two Decks
The Caprice Two Decks is different to others because it includes Columns, a Pile and Fans at the same time on the Tableau area.
A suggestion for this this game: once you have played all the cards on a Column or a Fan, you won't be able to play any card on and empty pile. So you should try to keep at least one card on each Column or Fan to increase your chances of winning.

The second game added this month is called Manila Bay and it is a variant of Dewey's Victory, and old game described in the book "Newton Solitaires" by Benjamin Newton (Newport, Rhode Island - early 1900's).
This is the layout of Manila Bay:
SolSuite Solitaire 19.8 - Manila Bay
For this Two-Deck game, disabling the Autoplay feature is a good idea! Try to keep the foundations even don't let one foundation get too far ahead of the others. 😎
